PornComix FAQ
25 answers about reading, privacy and removals
What is PornComix?
PornComix is a free website for reading porn comics, hentai manga and adult comix online. It indexes galleries from third-party sources and presents them in a fast reader that works on phones, tablets and computers.
Is PornComix really free?
Yes. Reading on PornComix costs nothing, and there is no subscription, coin system or premium tier. The site is supported by advertising.
Do I need an account to read on PornComix?
No. There is no registration or log-in. Open any gallery and press Read Now.
How old do I have to be to use PornComix?
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. PornComix is intended for adults only.
How often is PornComix updated?
New galleries are picked up throughout the day. The homepage shows the latest uploads first, and the Popular rankings refresh about once an hour.
What kinds of comics can I find here?
The library covers doujinshi, original manga, artist CG sets, game CG collections, western-style adult comics and curated image sets. You can see them all on the Categories page.
Which languages are available?
Most galleries are in English, Japanese, Chinese or Korean. Use the language chips on the Browse page to show only the one you want.
How do I find a particular comic?
Type a title, artist or parody into the search box at the top of any page. If you only remember a theme, try the tag directory instead.
How do tags work?
Each gallery is labelled with tags describing its themes. Selecting a tag shows every gallery carrying that label, newest first, with page numbers at the bottom.
What is the difference between All Time, This Week and Today?
They are three tabs on the Popular page meant to rank titles over different periods. At the moment the shared data source returns one ranking, so the tabs may look similar until it supports period-based lists.
Does PornComix host the comic files?
No. PornComix is an index and reader. All content comes from third-party sources, and we do not store the files on our own servers.
How do I request removal of my copyrighted work?
Email [email protected] following the steps on the DMCA page. A complete notice is normally answered within 72 hours.
Where is my reading history stored?
Only in your own browser, using local storage. It is never sent to our servers, which means it will not follow you to another device or browser.
How do I clear my reading history?
Open the History page and press Clear History, or use the Remove button under a single gallery. Clearing your browser data also wipes it.
What do Single and 3p mean in the reader?
Single stacks pages in one centred column, which suits phones. 3p shows three pages side by side, which suits wide monitors. The reader remembers the last mode you picked.
Why does a gallery show a 404 page?
The gallery may have been removed at the source, or it may not be available on PornComix. We return a proper 404 instead of an empty page so you are not left guessing.
Does PornComix work on my phone?
Yes. The layout adapts from six columns on desktop down to two on small phones, and the reader is designed for one-handed scrolling.
Is there a PornComix app?
There is no app and none is needed. Open the site in your browser and, if you like, add it to your home screen for quick access.
Is PornComix safe to use?
We do not require downloads or personal details. As with any website, avoid clicking unfamiliar advertisements, and keep your browser and device up to date.
What information does PornComix collect about me?
We do not ask for personal details. Our server and CDN process standard technical data such as IP address for delivery and security. Full details are in the privacy policy.
Why do some images load slowly?
Images are fetched from external sources and passed through our proxy, so speed depends on those servers and your connection. Reloading the page usually helps.
Can I download a gallery?
PornComix is designed for online reading and does not offer downloads. Please support artists directly if you want to own their work.
Is content involving minors allowed on PornComix?
Absolutely not. Such material is prohibited and filtered from listings, tags, search and the sitemap. If you see anything concerning, email the page address to [email protected] straight away.
Is there a light theme or dark mode switch?
PornComix is dark-only by design, which keeps the black reader background easy on the eyes at night. There is no light theme.
How can I contact PornComix?
Write to [email protected] for bug reports, questions, business enquiries and takedown requests. We usually reply within three working days.
